EA Sports MMA - out now!

I'm surprised there hasn't been any talk about this game on these boards. I for one am very excited to get my hands on it today.

No thread on 360 section about this game. So I figure I'll talk about it on here. I played the DEMO and the controls seem more simple than UFC. I wanna get this game only because it's got Fedor on it.

Actually, the controls are much deeper, if overly complicated. Takedowns are too easy, but at least the fighters don't all have the same style like in UFC.

You can actually set the controls like UFC on the control settings. Not exactly like UFC's, but close enough.

Picked this game up and love it!

Fedor is a BEAST on legend difficulty...tried few times to get the trophy but can't...as soon as he takes me down it's game over. My first time trying i got knocked out in 10 seconds. Can't believe it's only a Bronze trophy, was expecting Silver or Gold.

I read on other boards that beating him is pure luck, it would take several tries but it's possible.

You need to get 300 points by inviting your friends to try the demo. You get 25 points for inviting and I think 100 for them downloading and signing in to the demo. Also, when you activate your online pass you will get Classic Ken Shamrock, Bas Rutten & Andrei Arlovski

BTW, I am absolutely loving the game. Captures the feel of an actual fight better than Undisputed IMO. All fights don't end in the first via KO and the pace is great.

Anyone on the fence and not a UFC nuthugger give it a shot. I love the UFC as much as the next guy, but this game represents the essence international MMA very well.
