Has anyone here used this for selling tickets? I have tickets for a concert coming up and wanted to know if this is a good site to use for selling an extra pair or if anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks.

Yea I was wondering about that. that's probably what we will try then. I saw that they had some sort of extra service fee they were tacking on to tickets being sold through them. More than likely try craigslist seeing as how I just want to get back face value for them.

If you use eBay, make sure you check their terms. They used to (this was like, ten years ago mind you) have a rule that tickets couldn't start above face value, or something like that. So what a lot of people would do was sell something like a t-shirt and "include" the tickets.

As a buyer on StubHub, I find it most reliable and for that I think people may be more comfortable buying tickets from there if the price is reasonable (mainly when out of town buying tickets). I've used Craigslist a ton and been screwed once but that's all it took for me to be paranoid of it. Ebay is pretty good too but obviously you have to communicate more with the buyer.

Summary:

- StubHub reliable, higher price
- Ebay reliable (depending on buyer), more effort to complete transaction
- Craigslist, kinda just have to trust people
