As a HUGE fan of The Conjuring, I was very excited to see this last night at an early showing. Sadly, this was a HUGE disappointment. It relys only on cheap jump scares and had no real fright factor at all. I personally thought the doll was scarier in The Conjuring.

I'll pass on this release.

I enjoyed The Conjuring. I knew this was going to be trash. I am curious what anyone seen in the trailer to make them think this would be good?

Watching the new movie reviews on HLN, the movie "expert" said it was good for cheap thrills, but not as good as The Conjuring. He said if you wanted to see a good movie, watch Gone Girl instead of Annabelle.

I wanted this movie to be good. I will give it a rent when it's released to see if it's worth a purchase for me.

I saw this, and it was just another dumb ass this doll is supposed to be scary type of movie. However, instead of writing a long winded wall of text, I'll just post this since he says the exact same thing I would have said:

Go watch CHild's Play or the Living Doll episode of the Twilight Zone instead.

So it's really that bad??? Darn. I enjoyed the mini Annabelle subplot in The Conjuring far more then that movie itself.

The Conjuring started off well I thought but then it switched to being a hilariously shitty and cliched Exorcist ripoff.

He does not speak the truth for everybody. Not all agree with him and you know it. We all have different taste in things

This looks absolutely awful. The trailer is almost entirely predictable jump scares. Maybe you had to like The Conjuring to want to see this?

Well I saw this movie and I really liked it and I have never seen the The Conjuring. I know that a lot of people did not like this movie, however I thought it was a very good movie.

One of the worst horror movies I have ever seen. Not only is it laughably bad with horrid acting and writing, It's also incredibly boring.

Wow, who knew that an opinion did not speak the truth for everyone.

However, just because you do not agree with his reviews does not mean he is not speaking facts at times. When he says the movie contradicts things that were done in The Conjuring, he is NOT giving an opinion there, he is stating a fact.

I got to see it for free at an advanced screening and even then, it was bad. In fact, my initial score for it was a 6/10, but the more I think about the movie, and the more I discuss it, I realize that score was too high.
