hello all,

any weekly hard drive sales to share? best buy, walmart, amazon, new eggg.....

1TB external USB 2.0 drives are easy to find for less than $100 on sale at most brick-and-mortar stores nowadays.

I picked up a Seagate 1.5TB external USB drive for $99 from Office Depot a couple weeks ago. Attached it to a new Gigabit/Wireless N router directly (built in USB port on the router).

You can always go to Best Buy online and check out what they have. The store usually matches their online ad prices. Check out Tiger Direct (tigerdirect.com) as well. They offer some very good deals on the whole gamut of computer parts and accessories, as well as many electronics deals.

Sorry I don't know any specific deals offhand, but if you can score 1TB for less than $100, you are doing good.

Sign-up for newegg's newsletter and you'll receive their "shell shocker" daily deals. Most of the time they do have external drive sales.
