The always reliable MI6 website reports that the 2-disc Quantum of Solace: Definitive Edition will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on July 28, 2010. Look for audio commentaries and more new and exclusive bonus features, along with lenticular packaging.

When QoS first arrived on disc, director Marc Forster indicated that the release was just round one, and that fans could expect a Q-Branch certified special, special edition down the line. No word yet as to whether or not the film's original ending will be included, but we'd bet our collection of Honey Ryder seashells on it. (Wow. That might have been - nope, it was definitely the geekiest thing I've ever made happen.)

What is the original ending you ask, Spoiler Boy? **That means spoilers are up ahead. Yeah, we're talking to you.** In the original cut, Bond catches up with an escaped Mr. White at a Quantum-owned mansion near London.

I bought Quantum of Solace on Blu-Ray the day it came out.

The James Bond movies are always getting re-released.

lol, the article suggests that Craig may not be back again as bond, they just signed him on for five films after Quantum of Solace.

I think they said that because Bond is on indefinate hold until MGM gets out of bankruptcy or they get bought-out by another studio

I hope something happens QUICK....I'm feening for a new Bond movie!!!

No kidding. This would be a perfect opportunity to release some more Bond flicks on Blu-ray. Otherwise they'll be inclined to wait a few more years til Bond 23 hits theaters.

The first release is enough for me. As much as I adore Casino Royale, Solace was one big mess as far as I'm concerned.

No he's not. He's gearing up for Cowboys vs Aliens w/ Harrison Ford for Jon Favreau. Bond has been postponed indefinetly due to MGM's financial woes.
