Default Blockbuster UK

This evening I went down to Blockbuster to rent Prison Break series 2 on DVD. I have not been to Blockbuster store for a while, since I rent all my Blu-Ray movies, PS3 Games and Standard DVD's from love film. Now I was surprised to see a section just for Blu-Ray, and not a HD-DVD in sight, yes they don't rent HD-DUD at all. Now I know there was a deal for Blockbuster stores to exclusively rent Blu-Ray in most stores in the US, but I didn't know it covered the UK also, maybe other countries too. I also chatted to the manager about this, and not only did he say, that Blu-Ray is all they stock, but also Blu-Ray rental has more than doubled in the last 6 months, mainly due to the PS3, but he has chatted to other customers, who have purchased stand alone players. I also noticed that on the Blu-Ray cases, stickers saying compatible with PS3 also, a good move to me, just like Sony did, when the PS2 was released, and wanted consumers to know that their hard ware could play DVD's. He says, that the only downside was the small amount of titles available, but he said a list com through this week, with a great amount of releases coming soon, new release, and back catalogue.
