For all the GRAW fans out there, It seems that the beloved Ghost Recon franchise will be making a return in 2010 and hopefully its kick ass since its been a long time coming (since the first year of ps3 with GRAW2)

Ubisoft stated a while back they WOULD NOT be making another GRAW installment but instead a different Ghost Recon setting altogether.

Reported by Darkhawk: Apparently GRAW 3 is actually Ghost Recon: Predator. Only a rumor thus far, but a lot of places are claiming so.

It was featured in Ubisoft's third quarter 2009 fiscal update yesterday, and it looks like the next Ghost Recon game will be making an appearance this year.

CEO of Ubisoft France Geoffroy Sardin has had a recent interview with French site GameKult, and revealed (via Google translation) "The next big brand, which is expected to be a big blockbuster of 2010, the next Ghost Recon."

He also admitted that it needs to be equal with Modern Warfare 2, if not better - "The technological advances and competition are pushing us to do better. When you look at the excellent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in terms of content, multi and buzz, it needs to be level, if not much better." he said. "We therefore take the time to refine that title. But we have seen, played and it's just crazy."

In October, an unknown game titled Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Predator was rated in Australia, so it was then thought that would be the name of the next game. However, Ubisoft trademarked Ghost Recon Future Soldier in mid-December, so your guess is as good as ours as to what the next game will be titled.

Looks like the next Ghost Recon really is one to watch. Hopefully we can see some action at either GDC in March, or E3 in June.

My thoughts, if this thing waits all the way till E3 to do any advertising then this damn thing could end up getting postponed to a 2011 release date. Who knows, but I wouldnt totally bet on 2010 just cause they said so ... everyone is pushing stuff back these days in regards to their competition's street dates.

I actually bought GRAW2 from CDwow. Three months later they were still sending me apologist BS emails saying they were having trouble getting it, so I got a refund. I kind of put me off of it, plus by then I had other games to play! I was really looking forward to it though. I'll probably get GRAW3 though. GRAW 2 sounded like a good game

I've never played the first two, but I've heard that the first game had an amazing online mode. 16 player co-op. The Ghost Recon games have always been great and hopfully, this one will follow in its predecessors footsteps.

I bought GRAW2 for $20 back on boxing day. Never tried online.

The single player mode was pretty good though. Cool weapons, good story, very good action. I liked it.

Ill keep an eye out for this game. But it'll be hard to fit it in to my sched in the next 6mos, too many other good games.

This has got to be complete BS ... or its the coolest thing ever if possible...

I know there some really clued up gamers on these pages and I just wanted to know of any knows anything about these games. Now I have read quite a bite about Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X for those who havn't it appears to be a ace combat style air combat sim. But what excited me was - know I have heard this from a few sources- it is coming out the same time as G.R.A.W 3, AND the multiplayer/online games for both will interact.

So theorically if your in a game of GRAW 3 and your on blue team in battle you can call your mate in who is playing on the blue team on H.A.W.X to give you air support! you can mark targets on the ground and the H.A.W.X players can see this and take target out, and you can chat through your headset. So your all on one giant map GRAW troops on the ground and HAWX plane in the air, a bit like PS3's Warhawk!

Wow. I just got GRAW 2 (About $25 new).

If my 2 hours of play are any indication, GRAW 3 will be fantastic.

Haven't played online, but I did spectate one online match.

I liked graw2 but not its multiplayer.. the loss of the cover system really disconnected the game for me.

SP was spot on though... I hope to see online co op on that.

BB had GRAW2 on sale for $20 a few weeks ago. It might still be that price or maybe $30. I got the first rainbow six, but not the second.

Speaking of R6V2, I just got the LE edition from UPS on Monday, so that's yet another game to play ($29.99 on Amazon's lightning deal).

Check ebay often. I got my new GRAW 2 on there for like $25 shipped.

Nice thing about waiting for the hype to die down on games is getting them on the cheap.

Yeah sometimes it is good to get a game ASAP but other times getting them cheap is the way to go.
