Default Thinking of modding my PS3

Thinking of doing something similar to my PS3. Not the steampunk add-ons, just the wood veneer.

Yes or no.

at first I was going to say "no" but if it is out of warranty, then do what you want. On the other hand I would not cover the vents and stuff, so just what is shown here, and I would not put it on the disk slot (you don't want the disk to accidentally come in contact with the wood.

Do it! It looks awesome! Would you be doing it to a slim though?

I'm picking up a 150G slim for $200 from a neighbor who just bought a Samsung BD player. The slim has actual buttons on the front right, not the touch sensitive pads?

Last time I mod a video system was the PS1. I'm not into that stuff anymore, but I voted YES!

If I decide to put a piece on that panel the veneer is 1/50th of an inch, so I don't think it would even be noticeable.
