22AWG speaker wire good enough?

I'm trying to set up an old surround speaker system, but one of the speaker cables have to be about 59FT long, while the other will be about 39FT. I'm using some extra 22 gauge speaker wire I had left over from previous projects. The system is an old Sony SAVA 27 speaker system. The surround speakers rated impedance is 16 ohm / max input power 40w.
