Default Looking to start some acousitic treatment, need help

So im looking to start some acoustic treatment in my room, i have a pretty basic setup right now but i really think my room will benefit from some work, i have looked at some DIY guides on how to make panels( bass traps) n other stuff, but i really dont know where to start, and where i should put stuff for the best effect, where should bass traps go, where should foam panels go? all help would be greatly appreciated
here are some pics of the my ht and the walls, sorry for the crappy quality only have a camera phone right now, but i think u can see enough
if u have any questions please ask
i am new to acoustical treatment, and i really dont kno much

this is the back wall, i dont have any surrounds hooked up at the moment, and i wont be hooking up any until i buy new ones, other ones were doing more bad then good, but thats besides the point

this is the left wall of my room, its bare right now, as u see the bottom half of the wall is wood panels, i dont kno if this is bad, but thats what u get from living in a old house that hasnt been updated.

tv and front speakers/sub, showing the wall behind it, which is bare right now too

acouple others

to the right of the HT is a open space where my bed is, the right wall is about 15+feet away from the right speaker

so where do i start? whats the best place to put everything?
thank you

ICE
