hello all,

PQ: Grainy
Sound: DTS-HD Master

Film was just okay. Glad I saw it at home. Another version of "SAW."

I am watching it now and it looks terrible. It's grainy as hell. Is it meant to be that way? If it is then nice job, if not then this blu sucks.

It's this movie. I've seen other posts about it being grainy too. It has nothing to do with my setup as no other Blu''s look like this. I'm just wondering if it was an intentional graininess or just a crappy blu transfer.

I saw it in the theater and it was grainy also. It was shot on super 16mm film which is grainy film. So the blu-ray is the way the film is supose to look.

You could rent it at Blockbuster. it came out February 12th.

I think the grain is intentional in the movie.

Holy crap this is out? Damn lol completely went under my radar! I saw it in theaters and I thought it was a pretty entertaining movie. I loved all the scenes of the robber maneuvering around away from the killer. I am a sucker for horror films though! It's the only genre, for me, were bad acting doesn't completely ruin the film.

I saw it in theatres and it was quite dark and grainy. I imagine on Blu, the grain will hated by some, and loved by others. I was thinking to myself, "This would look great on Blu with all this grain!!" I'm one of those...if it's intentional, then keep it the way it is supposed to be,

I'm assuming, of course, that it was intentional. But due to the type of movie in question, and its low budget origins, the grain is, in fact, supposed to be present.

Looking forward to early April!!

Because it was originally started life as Saw IV until someone leaked the story out. They had to change it.

Damn it. I was planning on printing the Wal Mart page and heading over to Best Buy. All the Best Buys within 15 mins are out of it. I can drive to a town about 25 mins away for it...but not sure if thats even worth it. Does Blockbuster price match?

Default The Collector Audio Codec?

I ordered mine from Walmart online as well. I think they had an exclusive for this title online for now.

Does anyone know what audio codec is used for this BRD? I hope it gets a lossless audio codec but all the other Vivendi titles I looked at have lossy codecs .

I thought this was a pretty slick little horror film when I saw it in theaters last year. It is particularly brutal in nature and does not let up.

It should be identical to the one Blockbuster released early. DTS-HD 5.1
