Default "The Poseidon Adventure"

This movie has a HUGE fan base! It was the highest grossing movie of 1972!
Although "The Towering Inferno" is out on bluray now (And a Great Transfer!), Poseidon is a must! The Special Edition dvd was very good, great picture and STEREO sound and a wealth of extras, but again, it will be FANTASTIC in six track stereo sound (just like the day it opened in 70mm and six track stereo sound!) Com' on, Fox! Put it out and we WILL buy it!

I'm surprised it's not out yet. It would've made sense to release it when The Towering Inferno came out (or even WB's remake Poseidon).

The Poseidon Adventure has held up incredibly well. It will be even better on Blu.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention this,"The Poseidon Aventure" has (in my opinion) THE BEST original score John Williams EVER did! Yes, better than "Jaws" and even "Star Wars"!! (or the other 12 billion famous scores he has written) To prove this, the cd of the original score was issued (twice) in a very early (some tracks were stereo and some were not) and then a few months ago in an all new stereo version. Both soundtracks sold out very quickly, and yes, I own both cds!!

It would be great to see a blu release of The Poseidon Adventure! I just recently watched it for the upteenth time on Netflix streaming. It holds up very well for repeat viewings. And the cast - Ernest Borgnine, Shelly Winters, Roddy McDowell, Gene Hackman, Red Buttons - who couldn't love it?

Kind of surprising that it's not out since I believe there are two remakes of it that are.

Yeah, they always seemed to match those titles up for release before. I never got around to getting the nice SE of The Poseidon Adventure so I would gladly make the upgrade to blu.
