Welcome to the HT Gallery threads PC. That looks like a very nice place to take in a movie. Maybe down the road you should consider a larger display.

Amazing looking setup you got there. I love those Yamaha speakers in that piano finish. I have a high end Yamaha drum set so i have been a yamaha fan for many years

Looks good! Plus it's SW themed do you get extra points for that alone. For a dedicated theater though, I think your next investment should be a larger screen.

Thanks for the feedback guys, my TV is a Sony BRAVIA KDL55HX850 55-Inch. The panorama mode on my iPhone makes it look smaller than it is.

If you haven't noticed we like to spend other peoples money.. Do you like your screen that high? From the pics it looks like you have to look up to watch it. Other than that everything looks good.

I need to take some better pictures, but the TV is eye level with the couch. You have to lean back with the game chairs, but those are temporary till I get theater seats.

Great looking room you have, and I do like the color you have chosen. I got a good laugh at when everyone was saying get a larger TV, and you say its an 55”. I guess 55 inches isn’t what it use to be. Lol

If anything you gotta work on your surround speaker placement.

Although you already have towers for your side surrounds, it doesn’t look like you can set them up properly. You should look into getting some surrounds that can be flush mounted onto the wall. While looking for surrounds, di/bi-pole speakers are fantastic for surrounds and you have a nice area for good placement.

..... I think a big improvement can be realized by raising the surrounds on pedestals so that their tweeters are 2 -3 feet above your ear level. The rear surrounds should be able to be mounted flush on the rear wall, raised for the 2-3 foot height. They would also benefit from being separated from each other

You are spot on, someday I would like to get speakers mounted in the wall, my biggest problem is I lack room to position them correctly. Someday...till then I have to make due.

I love my 55 inch, works well for the size of the room IMO.

When I wrote this I was talking about the display that was in your green room. Is that also a 55"?
