8:00-9:00 PM SURVIVOR (29th Edition Premiere)

Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water is the upcoming 29th season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor, premiering in fall 2014.

Similarly to Survivor: Blood vs. Water, the season will feature pairs of loved ones competing against each other, but unlike Blood vs. Water, all of the players will be new.

The season will be filmed in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same location as Survivor: Nicaragua and Survivor: Redemption Island.

That's super sad, he seemed way too good for his boyfriend.

On a lighter note, I'm excited that it's a new cast and not any returning people.

I was not a huge fan of Blood VS Water the first time around. Maybe the fact that its all new people will help. Rupert was screwed from the start just because people knew him and his wife.

FINALLY! New contestants! I've been so bored with all the returning players the last few seasons. Now I'll get back into it, before we have the obvious flood of "All Stars version 12" that will be season 30.

This is the show that doesn't end. Yes, it goes on and on, my friend. Some people started watching it not knowing what it was and they'll continue watching it forever just because...

I do love Survivor, I find it to be really entertaining. It's amazing after all these years, it's still a pretty popular show. I hope it can go another 5 years, but that might be pushing it.

Last season was completely new people and the season before that was mostly new people

What are you even saying? Many people are calling the most recent season one of the best in the series history. The show, as always, is fantastic.

It could very well last that long. Lots of renewed interest in the show after last season, plus it beat American Idol last season.

It was also already renewed for another season after the one that premieres in September.

You are right about last season but the season before that was Blood vs Water so it was half returning.
