Hi Pieter. I tried earlier today, but I'm having trouble with my BD drive (well, my entire ancient laptop). I really need a new one... It took me forever to scan the Gomorrah discs the other day. If I remember, I'll take the disc over to a mates tomorrow and scan it.

I watched half the movie earlier and just about to watch the last half, and transfer is pretty good. I'm guessing it uses the same source as the Hen's Tooth release but I can't confirm it.

No problem, take your time. I think it will use the same transfer as the US and German disc.

I'm pretty sure it is after looking at screenshots of other releases (but can't find any confirmation anywhere).

On a (very) quick glance, to me, the Arrow looks to be slightly lighter than the German release, and closer resembles the tad brighter USA release. Of course, difficult to compare correctly without taking screenshots in the same way as caps-a-holic. Cheers for the link though!

What's with some of the actor's voices on this ?

Had a quick flick through and it looks like some of them have been badly dubbed over. I've never seen the film before so can't comment if it was like this when originally released ?

AFAIK, a lot of the dialogue was dubbed in post-production.

I have heard the dubbing on this has always been very bad but this release is actually a small improvement and at least has better subs...
