[REC] Genesis and [REC] Apocalipsis has been annunced!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Another two sequels that FILMAX has announced, the first one: [REC] GENESIS is expecting to be released on fall 2011 in Spain, the film will be directed by Paco Plaza and is highly probably to be a prequel that will tell the virus beging that turns infected people and hows everything starts.

The second one [REC] APOCALIPSIS(apocalypse) is supposed to be released on fall 2012(Spain) REC Apocalipsis will be directed by Jaume Balagueró .This will be a full-fledged sequel that will tell the outcome of the whole story.

I'd love to learn more on the origin of patient zero and how long she was kept in the apartment.

Also how that scary kids were all formed.

But to wait until 2012 for a true sequel?

Maybe for the crappy American remakes. The Spanish films are brilliant though.

Rec 3 is coming (and 4 for that case), it's still being made. 3 is a Prequel and 4 is called Apoclypse (I bet you can guess why that is).

I think there's a thread in the movie section of the forums, search in there for more info.

Saw REC 2 on HDNET, it was freaking awesome until all of that religious crap

ruined the story with it.

Haven't seen the first REC get but will soon.
