First of all I hope this is the correct area to be posting.
I have read a lot about upgrading ones equipment. If it really does as the upgrading companies proclaim, it might be worth it????????? I e-mailed a upgrading company yesterday asking them if an upgrade would really improve the PQ and AQ of my equipment. This is their response: Absolutely positively 110% you will not only hear a much more pleasing, engaging ad informative audio quality, the picture improves substantially as well. The Upgrade Company maintains a 100% Buy-Back Guarantee so you can feel completely confident. I don't want to waste your time or mine, we're in business to make people happy with the results of our upgrades and keep them coming back for more. Once you see and hear your Marantz BD-8002 sonic and visual transformation, I bet you;re going to want the same thing done to your Marantz 7002 receiver. Our fee is not cheap at $999 for the 802, however that is cheap for the performance we build into it: not even the new $8000 MSRP McIntosh 881 Blu-ray Universal player matches our upgraded 8002's on sound or picture. If you have upgraded, what is your thoughts? Worth it or not? ---------------------------------------------- What I am talking about is taking an already owned player or receiver and let a upgrading company completely change out and upgrade all the components within.
