I noticed that Shout Factory and Starz/Anchor Bay are releasing Wyrmwood. Any difference between releases other than that the Starz/Anchor Bay includes a DVD?

Why is it being released by two different North American companies at the same time in region A format?

Also Blu-ray.com lists the Starz/Anchor Bay release as a Canadian release. Isnt Anchor Bay a US based company?

What's the target audience for this movie? I blind bought The Babadook based on how much praise it got, and I thought it wasn't very good. Snowpiercer was another clunker IMO.

Hey so picked this up today. I have a question. I'm not sure if they did this on purpose or if it's a crazy coincidence, but the slip kinda smells like rotting something. Maybe flesh?

You can really smell it if you take the slip off and smell the inside.

Anyone else?

my bestbuy is really small so they only had 2 copies I am sure the bigger city/store the more copies they have

Just watched and it was surprisingly good. It's basically Dawn of the Dead meets Crank as directed by Evil Dead 2 era Sam Raimi. Yea it's as nuts as it sounds. I think the only thing holding it back is the acting, which aint the greatest.

Just watched this. Pretty decent. My Best Buy only had two copies today.

On a unrelated note, anybody have a issue with the 5.1 audio? Dialogue was mixed extremely low, I mean really low, while everything else was loud. Anybody?

Unbelievable. I've read some stupid things in the forum, but this has to be the dumbest thing anyone has ever put in print. You actually think a blu-ray disc slipcover smells like rotten flesh, and that somehow this was done on purpose for marketing purposes or whatever just because it's a zombie movie? To actually pose this question in a serious manner is beyond comprehension.
