JL Audio Fathom F113

Hello I am posting this thread to ask if any one knows where to get the JL Audio Fathom F113? Ive looked all over the internet and even called some local dealers to no avail. Any help would be appreciated!

I had seen the audiogon a while back. but how trustworthy would they be. I don't like the idea of buying something that costs that much online. I like a store where I can walk right into and take something back if I have any issues with it. I called all the local dealers within 150 miles of me and they don't carry them. They would have to order them and they couldn't give me a price right of the bat they would have to check and get back with me.

Audiogon is normally trustworthy, but I agree that spending that much money make one nervous.

They are so expensive that most dealers don't want to invest that much money for a product that may take months to sell. Almost all dealers prefer to take special orders.

There are plenty of good subwoofers in the $500 to $2,000 range. Just go and listen to some of them. Some Internet direct companies like Hsu Research are very reputable and have a money back guarantee.

The only other subs I have heard that I love are the def tech subs. The supercube reference and the supercube 1. My father has 2 supercube 1's and 4 mythos ST's in a full 7.1 surround. I love the speed of the bass and they are loud and very powerfull. I like the Supercube reference for HT but It cant match the 1's speed for music. If I go for either of those I will definitely get 2. I found a def tech dealer near me that gave me pretty good prices. If I cant get my hands on the fathom I will go for the defs.

Def Tech speakers & subwoofers are great and they are more readily available.

Dude svs subwoofer's are outstanding . You can't go wrong with one.
