The battle of the bots - Transformers animated vs. live action

Regardless of the new movie not being avaible for awile i'd love to see a bd
version of the 86 movie completelly remastered DAY N DATE to the hd-dud
release of the new flick. That'd send all transfans into a frenzy of which do i buy or do i buy both...the most common decision would be get the bd 86 flick
and the sd dvd new movie. Damage control indeed.
Anyone know if sony released the first movie or who did so this"battle" of classic vs reimagined can begin. Oh the irony-truely poetic justice..if it's released day n date on bd.
