Not really a sign of it coming soon as there are so many catalog titles that have HD masters without any release dates in sight. With that said, I do have a feeling that it'll be released later next year, or more likely 2014 for its 25th anniversary.

I actually recorded this back in April or May when HUB was advertising it as one of their movies for the month. It's still on my DVR, actually. I really wish this film would make its way to Blu. If I'm not mistaken, it wasn't even treated to an anamorphic transfer on DVD (I could be wrong though).

I would love to own both this and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, but both are pan and scan transfers on DVD, hence why I don't own them. I'd love for Disney to release both in a 2-Movie Collection the way they have with Father of the Bride, Sister Act, and Princess Diaries.

They might as well include Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. I found it entertaining enough that I'd take it as a "bonus feature" along with Honey, I Blew Up the Kid if all three were released in a single Blu-Ray package. It was directed by Dean Cundey and co-written by Joel Hodgson...at least there's a pedigree there.

The VHS still has the short (depending on which one you buy). As do the DVDs and BDs of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
