Default Help me hide my cables

Hi, guys somebody commented on my HT setup about my cables/wires, and I also hate them. Is there any way to hide them, that doesn't involve drilling a hole on the wall?

Well, there's no way to hide speaker wires like that as they're on the wall. However, the rest of them would be easy to hide using some zip ties and some zip tie mounts with double sided tape with that T.V. stand.

There are many ways to hide or Manage your cables & wires .

Zip-ties , cable wraps & there are more .

Just make sure you keep all the power cords & speaker wires away from your Interconnects when putting them together . Another thing is to not coil any excess in a circle . Make a crazy eight instead .

This is how I did mine , There is a lot of work involved wrapping them , But it looks good .

Me personally, I just chose A/V furniture that wouldn't show the cables in the first place. On the sides, we have large trees that prevent anyone from seeing behind. I always set out, intending to wire everything up neatly, but it never works out, so this was my best option.

Something like these (although from a canadian site, I'd think they are available everywhere)

Or this. It doesn't hide the wires but makes them less noticeable.

That is so awesome! ...We can tell you put a lot of work on this, but it's worth it at the end.

Avoiding the coil is helpful in avoiding noise problems. The loops can create a strong magnetic field inside the coil, due to Ampere's Law.

Now, you don't need to really worry about the technical crap...just try to avoid the coils.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now I have to make sure I don't have any coiling in my wires. I hate the having a rats nest of cables so I am always looking for a solution to tidy things up.
