3D Blu-ray external player/ripper for PC (region free)

Hello, I’ve been searching for a while for a region free blu ray player to watch a heap of 3D movies I’ve accumulated over the past few years. The cost of importing is huge, but a friend suggested buying a bluray drive that can rip my discs, for my pc. This would be ideal and I don’t need to rewrite them.

Can anyone suggest a USB drive that could do the trick? I’m unsure if all drives can do 3D? Or if they do, can rip them to be region free? Appreciate any info at all, thanks.
