hey guys finally gonna get a slim. Where the best deals right now. I know its 299 and i also have amazon prime. What my best option.? thanks

dont thry have the 'holiday bundles' going on now?
the bundle gives you 1-2 games and a luray?

get that and sell the games if you dont like them

me, personally, id buy from amazon for NO TAX (that saves me $18 bucks here in FL, 6% sales tax)

I definetly dont want a bundle unless its 299. The games dont interest me. I was hoping there was a special with GT5. If not you think my best is amazon prime 299 160GB no tax?

the bundles are 299.....only the move bundle is more.
thats how i got my ps3 slim last year (after i sold my fatty 80), i got a holiday bundle for 299 with 2 games and 1 blu (sold all 3 as i didnt want any)

as for the hdd, i dont store anything on my 120hdd, so i dont see the reason for a bigger hdd

Yeah, I know there is a Gran Turismo 5 bundle but I don't know if it is more than $299.

Walmart right now has a 299.00 deal with 2 games...selection on games is OK, you can always sell the games...

The best deals were last week, and the week prior.

One of them was the 160GB model, with Uncharted 2, PixelJunk Shooter, and the Karate Kid (2010) blu-ray, plus a $25 video game credit for $300 total.

On Cyber Monday they had the 160GB model, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Singstar Dance Party, and a $50 game credit for $300 total.

^ I was also going to suggest the deal in the post directly above mine. If you're paying no tax and have free shipping, it's a good deal. Ratchet and Clank is a good game, you can sell the singing game and accessories if you're not interested, and the $25 credit chops off a nice chunk of the cost for another game you really want.

That $25 credit is gone now for the family bundle, but now Amazon is selling the 160GB PS3 (console only, no bundles) with a $75 credit.

I think they were trying to say that the purchaser might not be interested in the specific games that come in the bundle, and might be interested in another genre. Not everyone likes Gran Turismo 5 or LittleBigPlanet or whatever game might be included in the bundle. Tho' even I would be a hard-pressed to understand why no one could love Sackboy

This finally may push me to replace my launch 60GB PS3 with a PS Slim.

My 60GB PS3 still works but I know eventually it's going to get YLOD or blu-ray drive lens going bad.

The $75 amazon future credit I'd use on a 500GB, or bigger sized internal laptop hard drive.

Wonder if I can still get $200 to $275 for my 60GB on my local craigslist.
