How many used blu-rays do you have in your collection?

I was a bit worried that I was buying too many blu-rays and spending too much money, but I just realized that more than half of my collection are used blu-rays (all in perfect condition), so I don't feel that bad anymore.

80 Used/146 Total = 55% of my collection are used Blu-rays.


What's your used blu-ray to new blu-ray ratio?

Pretty much the same with me.
But I have bought only 1 Blu that was used by someone else first. The rest of my collection was bought brand new.

I never bought used in either BD or DVD but I found the price of the tv sets daunting so I have purchase two volumes of BSG and the complete Rome off ebay. So far I havent had any problems.

I will only purchase used Blus if it is from a major store (Blockbuster) or if I trust the person (member of this site). Otherwise, I'd hate to have a disc malfunction or get ripped off and have no way to return it.

not counting sets like matrix or lord of the rings, i've only spent more than $20 on 5 movies in my collection....these rest were below this price point!!

Same here. I'm totally OCD about getting scratches, fingermarks, dust, filth on my discs and I've never seen a used BD in the same condition as mine. Thus I'll never buy used. I'll admit I often feel it's silly, though, but I can't seem to get rid of the thought that only myself should handle or have handled my BDs.

I've only bought a used BD once and it was the Spider-Man Trilogy Set and it looked new too...but yeah with the exception of that all my BDs are new and have only been used by me

+1 (zero so far), except would consider used if no other option was available. Think I have a few used DVDs and a few used CDs. And a few used LDs and several used LPs for that matter.

I'm going to say over half of mine are used. Saves money
