Cool Who enjoys movies made before your time?

Who enjoys movies made before your time? My nephew is just turning 18 and he is very '80's retro. Must be taking after his favorite uncle....

It's amazing how he loves the "classic" movies we grew up with, and even went to a Peter Frampton concert. Most, if not all, of his music are the 80' superhits.

Oddly, my favorite "before my time" movies seem to be all sci-fi.

* Metropolis
* The Day the Earth Stood Still
* The War of the Worlds
* Forbidden Planet

Probably missing one or two. But then their are those films I was not able to see as a child and saw on TV years later, or other home video.

* Original Star Wars - NEVER got to see it in the theater. I guess that is why I was never impressed with it afterwards. Never bought it on any kind of video.

* Logan's Run. Too young to see it in theaters. Recorded from TV in the mid 80' in SLP mode. Now own the DVD.

How about you?
