United Kingdom Breaking Bad - ever going UK?

The US-versions are Region locked so I'd very much like for a cup of Region B Breaking Bad, thank you.

Does anyone know who's got the rights for the UK edition, or what's taking them so damn long?

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has the rights to the show in both the UK and the US. And I don't know what's taking them so long, if anyone can provide me an contact email for them I'll ask! After they screwed up the Region A release by incorrectly labeling it region free, surely this series needs to get a UK release by now.

I've been wondering the same thing - This is the greatest drama series in well over a decade... i'm not sure if it's even shown on UK tv, i had to resort to dodgey downloads... would happily stump up some cash for a legit copy

Season 1 was shown on FX, and Season 2 was shown on Five USA, but I don't think either of them have broadcast rights for Season 3. I really don't think it was well publicised (I first heard about the series through a friend, not through TV), and what a shame it wasn't. It is a fantastic series and quite underrated.

Have only recently "discovered" this great TV show. Got the season 1 boxset in a Play.com sale for £8.99, and subsequently whizzed through it pretty quickly. Am now a couple of episodes into season 2 which is also excellent so far. Yes a Blu-ray release would be nice but it doesn't look likely in the near future. Same goes for Dexter - another great TV show which has seen every season released on BD in the US...but all region-locked When it comes to TV shows on Blu-ray the UK seems to be lagging behind quite a lot
