Default players with slowest load times you've seen

Sony bdp s300
granted it's an older player but still that's ridiculous I can't believe a firmware update can't make it better
thankfully it's no longer my main player

My Panasonic DMP-BD35 loads pretty slow. Sometimes up to a minute (at least it felt like a minute).

My first BDP Sony S350 was slow compared to my current BD Player . But who cares how slow it is if you get to see it IMO

The Sylvania blu-ray player I had for about a month was just HORRIBLE. At the time I bought it, I thought a blu-ray player was a blu-ray player as long as it plays the movie but obviously I was wrong. It wouldn't even load up Terminator Skynet Edition, it would just load and load for 15 to 20 minutes and it would eventually give up. Plus, updating it was a pain in the ass. Never again. Never.

Ever since You Tube has released the HD capability, it's been getting worse and worse. At home, I'm on a 22meg download connection and it's running like molasses. Yeah, eventually it'll load, but I find myself going to half a dozen videos, waiting for the buffering to load and start playing the video, then pause each video, go do some laundry or something else for 15 minutes, come back, and watch whichever video has loaded all the way.

My father-in-law bought this player when it was first released. Talk about frustrating! At first the load times didn't bother him, but eventually it drove him crazy. I installed every firmware upgrade for that unit, but it didn't help. Eventually the player crapped out, so he bought an LG BD570 and has been happy ever since.

I bought this player when it first came out, granted most everything was slow at that time but I could have the popcorn popped before the thing would even turn on and eject so I could put the disc in! I just upgraded to the Sony BDP-S570 and it is blazing fast! I can't even get seated before its loaded and ready to go!

My Samsung 1400. will load/read for about 10-15 min and then give up. It's really a hit or miss Blu-ray player.

Sharp bd hp20 That was sickening slow. I replaced it with a Samsung 3600. I can barely sit and put the remote down and it's show time!

That SkyNet Terminator load is a doosey. My Panny DMP-BD85K takes almost a good 45 seconds...
