Default Is this being dishonest?

I was going to sell some of my blu rays that I hate. 2 of them have a digital copy. That I already used for to get 200 points with my WB insider rewards.

Should I tell them The Digital copy doesnt work anymore?

I always try to tell the truth. But since it is going to be sold as use. Does that still mean I need to tell them about me using the code for the Digital copy.

Yes you do, a lot of people like digital copies and consider them part of the movie package.

Unless I misunderstood you. I should just go ahead and tell them I have used the Digital Copy, right?

Or you can just throw the digital copy away and say that it's not included. It wouldn't work anyway, so what's the point of including it?

just state digital copy no longer valid, buyer will understand that since the actual movie disc is what everyone want. If you don't mention it then that would be dishonest if buyers care about digital copy.

I called the place earlier. They said just let them know what 2 movies they are. When I come in tomorrow. They said something like they may give me less for it, since it doesnt have the digital copy.

It sounds like you are selling to a store rather than an individual.

IF selling to an individual, absolutely tell them that you have redeemed the digital copy already.

IF selling to a store, then it depends on their policy. I'm not advocating dishonesty... but, for example, a local book/dvd store I buy/sell to has a posted policy that they do not guarantee ANY digital copies as obviously they have no way to verify whether or not they would work.

So you buy from them with the up front knowledge that the digital copy probably has already been redeemed, and you get a surprise bonus if it hasn't!

Selling my used movies to that store, I am not sure if I would make an effort to try and list what movies had redeemed digital copies and what didn't since I know they aren't changing their prices either way and are not guaranteeing them when they resell.
