gah, well my cat decided to pee on my 5 year old Creative Zen touch 20 gig beast. I absolutely loved this mp3 player bought it 5 years ago and have had absolutely nothing but perfection from this baby. Now the cat decided to protest against a full litterbox and now the player powers on and the scroll slide work but none of the push buttons. I've tried leaving it overnight in a bowl of rice and running the blow dryer on low next to it to see if the contacts for the buttons were wet but nothing seems to work (unless I'm just missing something).

was looking around for a decently priced mp3 player (under $100 for about 16-20 gigs) and have nearly settled on this one if I can't revive my old Creative zen touch.

I'm simplistic really, I play music on it and that's about it so I don't wanna waste ridiculous amounts of money on a player with 10 million features, I want memory size and stability to be the highest priority.

I love and hate my cat right now , lol
