Default Bedroom Tv Decision

Okay so with my recent visit to Best Buy i don tknow exactly whats the best value, and just need some other fellow blurayers for some advice.

I have three choices, and as you can see i have a Panny g10 50' in the main room, and the wife is tired of the 18 inch sharp boi lol thats loosing its backlight lol.

I saw a Regza 37 Inch 1080 P, that looked pretty good, and is the middle stance on my decision, But it's not a plasma, which we both love in the living room.

Then for the lowest screen is a 32 inch but its an insignia LED-LCD combo, which is the Newest technology in my choices but the smallest screen, but i guess it's a step up in technology, and insignia si fine by my standards in a bedroom setting.

The other choice is the biggest screen size, which is 42 Inch Plasma, Panny or samgsung, but they only come in 720p. Which doesnt entirely matter as we prob wont do movie watching in the room unless its on tv which is usually already in 720p anyway. Im guessing thats the only issue with the 4z inch choice

All of these around the same price so any idea which one everybody think is the best fit.

Just because LED-LCD is newer technology doesn't automatically mean it's better. I'd go with the Panasonic simply because they're better TV's.

Thumbs up Panny plasma

Indeed. The Panasonic plasma is the outstanding choice here. If you're not limited to BB, check out the Panny plasmas here ---> http://www.us-appliance.com/ . They have some of the lowest prices around, and offer FREE shipping with NO sales tax. For example, they have the Panny 42" S2 1080p plasma out the door for $729. And they have the Panny 42" C2 720p at $519 out the door. Those are deals that are hard to beat !

Panasonic or Samsung plasma would probably be the best choice based on brand and it's also the largest.

If you don't mind my asking how much are you looking to spend as there may be better options in your price range available. that 1080P panasonic posted a couple spots up looked like a pretty good deal on what is a really good TV

Thanks,
T

Yeah I'd definitely go with a Panasonic plasma. I got one a couple of years back, refurbished 42" 720p for 600 bucks after shipping. Its one of the best purchases I've ever made. Its a bit bear bones, and theres glare on the screen if I open my blinds in the day but the picture quality blows away LCD's, at least the ones I looked at before purchasing a plasma.

And don't worry about getting a 1080p on a 42" for a bedroom TV. Unless its sitting on the foot of your bed theres no way you'll be able to see the difference.

Out of those choices I say the Panasonic Plasma. The 1080P ones are incredible though!!
I plan on buying one once my Samsung breaks. Which shouldn't take too long since it already makes clicking sounds each time I turn it off.
