Default Monsters vs. Aliens

am i the only one patiently waiting for this movie??? i find it kinda weird that this movie came out in March and has no dvd/blu release date announced (that i can find) and movies that came out in April (Fast & Furious) do.

the movie looked hilarious and every time my 3 year old daughter watches Madagascar 2, she sees the preview and asks me if i'm gonna buy that movie for her.

if anyone has any info on a release date, that would be great b/c i've had no luck finding one on any of the sites i frequent, including this one.

I'm looking forward to this as well. Loved the movie at the theater.

I have a feeling they might be waiting to see if a standard for stereoscopic 3-D blu-ray viewing will be established sooner rather than later. Seeing as how they're really trying to push S3D viewing further, I'd think they'd want a proper release not using cheesy anaglyph technology at home. God knows I don't want that. I want Real D quality 3-D at home and something tells me they do too.

I'm not holding my breath, but if they held off until next year, I wouldn't complain, because by then we'll have proper 3-D blu ray technology. Hopefully.

I am also waiting for the release date for this movie and "The Last House on the Left", which came out even earlier in March. Don't know why some dates are announced quickly and others are not.

This should probably get a September or October release, probably some news of it soon.

I would expect a July or August release date for them. It usually takes 4 months give or take a week or so.

I'm wanting to see it badly as well and thought it would have been announced a long time ago. I'm thinking they aren't gonna release it until November or December for holiday rush time.

I still need to see this. If it's as good as Kung-Fu Panda I'll love it.

I loved Kung-Fu Panda but it might depend on if you can handle Jack Black. He can be annoying in some movies. For Kung-Fu Panda he was perfect.

He was perfect. I like him. I just didn't giggle like a school girl like I did with MvsA.

Giggling like a school girl is classy. I hope that happens when I see it.

The 3-D version's already been pushed back to such an unannounced 1-2 year date for just that reason, although we still get the 2-D version, and the "BOB's Big Break" short in red/blue.
(As long as it isn't that system they stuck us with for that Superbowl promo, everyone's happy.)

Expect Disney to also push the ante, as it's pretty clear by now they're not promoting "G-Force" for any OTHER reason...

I was kind of let down by this movie. They had some awesome opportunity for jokes but it seems they took the lazy way out on them. It was humorous at times but the trailer made it look far funnier.

Really surprised they didn't release it with a DVD but I guess Dreamworks doesn't do that.
