Which disc is the one to get?

Taiwan:

I would normally say the Taiwan disc since it's a Taiwan film, however, HK disc is cheaper and comes with a nice slip cover. I got the HK version.

The Taiwanese version has got more extensive features than the HK version, and even has a director's commentary track. That said, I forget if the track has English subtitle. The menu is also better designed. About the only thing going for the HK version is its DTS Master HD 7.1 versus 5.1 for the Taiwanese version.

I just watched my HK copy. The movie reminded me of Chingu (Friends) a lot. The PQ on the HK copy is sometimes soft and seems to have a slight yellow tint to it. I have not seen the Taiwan copy and don't know how this compares to that. The audio options include both dts HD MA 7.1 and Dolby True HD 7.1. The extras include making of featurette and NG scenes.
