They have, but in a thread with various other catalog titles aswell:

I also like The Breakfast Club, will definitely pick it up at some point when the price drops a little

The transfer has always been lacking when it came out on HD formats before, and I'm guessing at this price point and lack of fanfare it's not going to be any better here. With talk about it coming out at <£10 in the other thread though, sounds like one I should pick up regardless. Has the 12 part docu been anywhere else? That has potential to be good.

Shame there's no commentary from John Hughes, it's been on DVD a few times so I'm surprised there isn't a track in existence they could've reused.

Great film, not something I'm in a mad hurry to get though. Will wait till it's £6.99.

Shows its pretty pointless pre-ordering any of the Universal catalog titles, just like last year these have all came down in price very quickly, on the day of their release even

Picked this up yesterday in HMV 2 for £20 deal - looking forward to seeing it again....

(under £8 on HMV.com is amazing value! Imagine all back catalogue titles with this pricing structure, they'd be flying off the shelves!)

Very disappointing bd. Way too much dnr. But I'm a big fan & will obviously keep since this is the best that we're probably likely to see for the next 10 yrs.

well I imported from the USA I must admit to being very disappointed with the PQ, better than the DVD but certainly not Blu-ray standard still glad I own it

Sounds like it's the exact same master from the original lacklustre print from a few years ago then. No surprise, but thanks for the confirmation.

It's disappointing to hear from people about the PQ Still, it can't be any worse than the dvd, and my dvd is also the original bare-bones release so at least I'm getting some new extras as well. I've only paid £7.41 so I can't grumble too much.
