I am shocked. They want $39.99 for the 3d blu-ray, and to clarrify that is just the 3d blu-ray, there is no 2d version, no dvd and no special features. Seriously how do they expect that to sell well.

Jb Hi Fi and Sanity. Which is odd as both there sites list it as 3d blu-ray, blu-ray and digital copy.

They tend to do that. I've seen it with other titles in the past. You get all 3 with the initial pressing, and the cull it all out in the subsequent presses.

This is what they had out three days prior to release though as well.

OK let me help clear this up....

There are 5 releases of Thor: The Dark World currently available on Blu-ray in the Australian market:

2D Only (Generally for the rental market) R.R.P $29.98
APN: 9398582120072

2D + Digital Copy R.R.P $29.98
APN: 9398542120074

3D Only R.R.P $39.98
APN: 9398512120073

Combo - 2D + 3D + Digital Copy R.R.P $49.98
APN: 9398532120060

JB Exclusive Steelbook 2D + Digital Copy R.R.P $39.98

Prices will vary from vendor to vendor as will the availability of certain titles. Eventually the digital copy versions get phased out....
