Default Payback:straight up

ok, i love payback, but have never seen the directors cut. i have heard it is a completely different movie. my question is to those who have seen it. is it any better, worse, or just as good. i really want to get it. but am looking for opinions on it from people who like the original as much as i do.

Thanks!

I like it a lot better in some respects. But I also love the theatrical version as well. The tone is 40x darker, and the comedy aspects that the theatrical one had in it were toned down. The whole ending is different, and the whole movie pretty much is as well. If you are into a more dark version than this is the one for you.

I liked both equally. I feel that they had differnt emotions attached to them. It's a great film to watch. I'd have say "check it out". Besides, it's worth the support.

The director's cut is alot darker. I really like the ending more in the new version. Both version are equally good, but I still prefer the new version.

it's good andfun. however, if u have seen the theatrical cut, you will at times be saying "but wait." once you get passed that, it's a very good movie and is much darker
