My apologies if this has been posted before (I did NOT read through ALL the Paramount fiasco threads )

Unless wounds are healed, there's a possibility that David Geffen and Steven Spielberg may walk in 15 months, according to sources. If a schism occurred, Geffen and Spielberg could retain the DreamWorks name but would lose ownership of their negatives, development deals and nearly all their staff.

it is a maybe. anyways worth case scenarios spielberg wouldn't allow his movies to be exclusive to HDDVD.

Neither did the article--It's from July.

Still, does emphasize that Jeffrey Katzenberg is the only one stubborn enough to go down with the Shrek-ship, and he's the one who's been least broken up about the idea of calling the "incentives" a bribe...
It's almost playing out like fate.
