As we are thinking about Getting a new TV, and since meh father thinks the new TV will be used more (probably movies) he wants to replace a 20 year old amplifier , being as this is a technical forum I wanted to ask for suggestions for it. I think it crackles some (even at low) volume, it along with probably both rooms could be replaced (for better equipment). The current speakers back here are quite large ---- about half the size of about a 5 foot 3(ish) inch person. Mostly he just wants to replace the amp.
