almy Active Member Member since:Aug 2007	David Lean...... A few of his great films gave been released already. BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI is coming in a couple of months, and Sony keeps promising LAWRENCE OF ARABIA. Fine. But, no mention at all of RYAN'S DAUGHTER. It may not have been his "best" film (I think it was superior to PASSAGE TO INDIA) but visually it was spectacular with a great story line. Just think that Robert Mitchum was a poor choice for the male lead. Anyway, how many others are anxious for this one?
