Disturbia has DTS ES HD master?

I picked up Disturbia today it says on the back for the specs it has only DTS ES. So imagine my glee when I looked at the display for the DTS ES Audio that it read 1.5 mbps for the audio. Is that DTS HD Master Audio.

No... DTS ES is not DTS HD MA.

I know DTS ES and DTS HD MA are not the same thing. On the back of Disturbia it says it has DTS ES which should play at a bit rate of about 786 kbps instead it plays at a bit rate of 1.5 mbps. Can any one confirm that the DTS ES track runs at 1.5 mbps?

DTS-ES is just regular DTS with an extra channel. All regular DTS tracks on blu-ray are 1.5Mbps.

Some DVDs had 1.5Mbps as well but most were 768k.

Not to go too far off topic, but in the HD-DVD arena, don't kill me just trying to make a comparison, the DTS core is 1.5 Mbps on HD-DVD and sounds a lot better than the Dolby Digital Plus running at 1.5 Mbps.

This is why I am so excited to finally hear DTS-MA in comparison to Dolby True HD and Uncompressed PCM, once of course a player can finally decode it or send it out bitstream to a receiver.
