I was in Best Buy today, and I noticed that they had (in stock) brand new, re-mastered season sets of the sci-fi series "Babylon 5".
They say that these new sets have a new anamorphic transfer, yet the box says that they are in a "cropped" letterbox presentation "enhanced for 16 x 9 televisions". Also, these new sets are copyrighted 2008 (by Warner Bros.) (the first DVD sets, which a lot of B5 fans complained about, were copyrighted 2002 and 2003). Does anyone have these new B5 sets and, if so, do they really have improved picture quality (particularly in a more or less anamorphically correct manner)? Thanks, Jodi |
