Default something smells funky with Blades of Glory.

Hey guys,

just finished Blades of glory on DVD. but i noticed something funny/suspecious at one scene on the movie. the first scene when both Jon Heder's character and Will's decided to be a team, there was an add of xbox 360. Do you think Paramount was in talks with MS to reach a deal for some time before the movie was released in theatres or during the development of the movie.

Any Thoughts.

Maybe Micheal Bay knew of the fact that Paramount will go exclusive to HDDVD, which is why he showed that scene with the Xbox 360. I mean why an Xbox 360. PS3 is way better. How many Movies had an Xbox 360 on it. come to think about it, there was an xbox 360 on Disturbia(paramount too.). UH OH

was there an Xbox 360 in 300? (I am trying to make sure WB isn't pulling a Paramount on US.)

Yeah I think HD DVD and Paramount/DreamWorks had a deal going on for a while. Probably not all the way back to the making of Blades though. Still, I'd be surprised if ANY copies of Blades were ever pressed. And if someone said they were, I would like to see a picture of it...

I believe you on that, paramount made sure to delay it. I used to work at UPS. normally new releases comes in sunday night, and shipped on monday, for the DVD release on tuesday. same happened with the ps3, (I used to work with ups as managment) and the systems came in day before release day with a notice not to be shipped until 12 hours before release. so before release these systems were shipped to their location at approximately between 12 pm to 3 pm, on average were shipped at about 3pm.

I was at best buy and it said on the display box that hold all of the copies of Blades of Glory dvds and hd-dvds and it said the price for the dvds but it also said Blu-ray and hd-dvd price $29.99 and so i looked all over for the blu-ray copy and nothing showed up plus i asked a worker at Best Buy to see if there were some in the back and they said nope.

Here's one for the conspiracy theory.... The Island had that whole Xbox interactive fighting game.

Studio/Director: Universal/Michael Bay

Actually if you look.. theres guys on this forum who have got copies of the film on Blu-ray.. Also.. major review sites were actually sent full copies of the film for review as well.. you can't review something if it's not been pressed yet..

There was also a Playstation 2 controller seen in Disturbia... just not as prominently as the Xbox360 controller.
