yes because it's from 20th Century Fox which is exclusive to Blu-ray only.

One of my favorite trilogy is LOTR - So, that would be on blu also, unless new line cinema will pull the plug

And even then, he won't do it right away. He's a pain when it comes to releases.

Because there is a little company in Northern California that is pulling the strings on this called LucasFilm and Lucas as well as Speilberg are very finnicky about releasing their movies on any new media.

Yeah really, just look at how many times Star Wars was released on vhs and dvd. I say it'll probably be late 08 or early 09 before we see these in High Def. I just hope he doesn't butcher these the way he did on dvd, by releasing 'Special Editions'.

At least he finally accepted that people wanted to see the originals.

Perfect opportunity to use seemless branching!

Except he'd rather milk us on multiple versions likely hehe.

You could have all versions of Star Wars on a BD-50. Seamless branching could make it where Han shoots first whenever you want him to.

StarWars is made for blu ray as pepole have mentioned the branching. and that LFL finshes all the deleted scenes for the new trilogy that could be branched back in the film and you could delete jar jar scenes but I must confess we will see indy on blu ray first cause paramoron dosent own them LFL does

LFL= Lucas film LTD
