Default Suggestions?

Here is my current set-up

Onkyo HTR-667 reciever
Samsung PN50550 TV
Samsung BD-P1600

The other night I went to watch Prince of Persia and the disc began to sputter around the 3rd chapter and as such through the lypsync off. This has been an ongoing issue with some audio DTS-HD tracks on certain movies. I had read that the P1600 has it problems with dts tracks and more or less decided to deal with it until I could afford to buy a new player. So I decided to do a firmware update and low and behold it re-created a handshaking issue w/ the BDP and my reciever. Several months back when I got the player and the TV together, that's when the initial handshaking began but I was able to figure out a way to get the signal to connect each time via HDMI. After last night's hic-ups w/ Persia & the fact that the current FW update from samsung ****ed everything up again, it's time I destroy the P1600 for a better suited player that will fuction the way it's supposed to.

With that in mind in order for me to appease my movie watching habits, I've had to connect the BDP directly to the TV's hdmi and lose full hd surround by using an optical cable. I'll have to deal w/ it until black friday. So after all that I ask which new BD player is best compatitble with my reciever so that I can re-hook everything via HDMI and utilize my reciver to it's full HD glory?
My price range for a 2.0 player is no more then $150.00

Thanks
