Hey guys my name is James and I've been a movie freak since I can remember. I didn't watch cartoons growing up....my dad was letting me watch Predator and taking me to see Terminator 2. I just purchased my first home about 10 months ago and like a diamond in the rough it had a 200sq ft. room in the rear that was used for nothing. Over the last 10 months I have been furnishing the home and finally came down to the rear room....so practically it had to be HT room what else!!! Since this was done on a limited budget and I didn't know donkey poop from the start that is what I have so far purchased

*Dark knight / Predators / Terminator 1....movie posters
*Painted the ceiling dark brown...with brown recessed can trims and brown air vents / Painted the walls a tan brown and the trim a khaki
*had existing blinds so just put black out curtains over them and then decorative curtains...so I have 100% light control now
*Lutron Maestro wireless wall switch and wirelss pico controller

I'm currently waiting to get carpet and for my sectional to come in. My budget was $5K and I've been able to stay within range....nothing crazy but I feel its a good start and hopefully I can really enjoy it. Pictures to follow from the original room to the finished product. Thanks, James
