Jacques Perrin's Oceans?

Was this ever released theatrically in the UK, according to IMDB it wasn't, but of course, IMDB is never 100% correct (I also couldn't find any info from the BBFC's website either). The reason I ask is that while I know the film is available on bluray in France and Japan, neither version has English subtitles (not totally sure about the French release) - both versions are the full 104 minute cut, while Disney Nature here in the States and Canada reduced the film's running time to 84 minutes. I'd really like to own the full cut of the film and minus Pierce Brosnan's slightly annoying voice narration.
