Arrow Mickey Rourke Is The IceMan. Mafia Hitman.

Quote:
Mickey Rourke is attached to star in "Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer" for Natural Selection says the trades.

Based on the true story of Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski, a man who for more than 40 years led a double life as both a professional assassin and a doting husband and father in suburban New Jersey.

David McKenna ("Blow," "American History X") adapted the script from the book by Philip Carlo. Matty Beckerman will produce.
There's a documentary I have on dvd by the same name, which I believe first aired on HBO. Part 1 was shot in 1992 and Part was shot in 2001. Very interesting if you haven't seen it. It's also extremely disturbing to see a guy completely devoid of almost every emotion (hence his nickname) and absolutely no remorse for killing over 100 people.

I read the book a few years ago and it was amazing. Surprised Mickey Rourke (who is one of my favorite actors) got cast in the lead role though.

The interview with him is absolutely chilling. I remember watching it several years ago and it's one of the things that led me to prosecution.

Should be interesting even if for only to see how Mickey Rourke looks like that. And is it just me or does the Iceman look like Rob Reiner.
