Just dispatched to me from Sainsbury's, fingers crossed for a nice slipcover but I'm not holding out hope.

I highly recommend it to anyone who may be considering a blind buy!

It is truly a awesome flick. Logan Lerman steals the show!
I will see how money is and then buy when I can. Got few pre orders shipping next 2 months.

My friend twisted my arm to see this (as a penance for taking her to see Berberian Sound Studio) She knew very well I would dislike this film after I've read the novel over a decade ago, and she was right. But I didn't expect her to dislike it also. One of the most annoying films I've seen in 2012 with characters and dialogue that are so rotten that it has fallen from the tree of creativity.

Lerman does a very good job as Charlie, and that's it. Ezra Miller as Patrick goes over the top and tries to steal the show, and fails. This is a shame considering how amazing his performance was in We Need To Talk About Kevin.

However the most important actor in the film is undeniably Emma Watson. Trying to shake of the Hermione image by adopting an appalling American accent, showing her legs as much as possible and pretending to be the moronic free spirited girl next door, Watson is just going through the motions and doing a bad job to boot. Her appearance in the film was the sole reason this film got out of years of development hell faster then the speed of light.

Mine's coming from zavvi so I doubt I'll get it on release date, but hopefully there's a slip

EDIT: EOne are distributing this, so it could have a slipcover, they usually send them out when something is first released, but not always a full slip, usually going up to the blu-ray banner
