ummm, read the reviews???? if you're thinking about the quality upgrade from DVD to blu, the blu is not a pretty looking blue but the DVD was so aweful that it looks stupendous in comparisons.

In terms of the movie itself... No one but you can know your tastes

+1 An essential piece if you're fan of Guy Ritchie's films, and it does look better than the DVD. One must remember that this was shot on 16mm, so don't expect refrerence quality.

no one can make that decision but you. Blind buys are always dependent on a persons tastes, you may or may not like the film, That's why blind buying can be risky. read some reviews and see if you wanna take the risk. If not netflix the sucker. please take no offense but no one but you can decide whether a movie is worth it or not. Not some random guys on the internet who may or may not like it themselves.

movie wise, its a great movie! i love it

bd wise, if ur looking for a eye blowing bd then this is not it
but it does look good for how the movie was filmed
the dvd looked really bad, i had trouble watching it, i thought i was watching a vhs that went through the war
bd is better than dvd
for 10bones its worth it

I got mine from Costco too. IMO this is one of those blus that I buy for the movie itself and let the subpar AQ and PQ slide.

It's a good movie, unfortunately the Blu-ray is absolutely terrible, one of Universal's worst transfers (which, considering their record with catalogue titles, says a lot.)

In my opinion, "Snatch" was just Guy Ritchie's Hollywood version of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." It's pretty much the same type of story.

No, it is not good. It is awful.

It's been DNR'd so there is virtually no detail and it has a lot of smearing, but the grain was so heavy they didn't get rid of it, they just made it look blotchy, unnatural and made it stand out more. Then add to that sharpening, colour bleeding and severe contrast boosting.

It was shot on 16mm so should look grainy and gritty, but the Blu-ray looks nothing like film.
