Monolith 15’ 1000w, anyone tried this yet? - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry if this already posted or discussed I didn’t see it anywhere when I looked

I am looking to upgrade my sub and have been looking st the 12 or 15 inch Monoprice Monolith Sub, I am wanting something that has really good lows but will still kick you in the chest if you want it to. My theater room is 14”x18x8”
If not a good choice what would you suggest around 1k in price?

Haven’t heard much about the Monolith Subs, but I recommend
Power Sound Audio’s PSA V1510. They specialize in Subs unlike Monolith.
Sealed Version is $1050, Ported Version is $1150.

I would make sure that the next sub you get doesn’t sound sloppy.

Definitely would recommend a sub you can do room corrections with.

For example Paradigm with PBK or Martin Logan with Anthem room correction.

It allows a laptop to do the corrections, much better than a receiver.
